So we have just finished the event that seems to open our 2018 season “Taste of Lake Country” it is a great weekend– with all the wineries providing small bites paired with their new releases, it is sort of a wine junkies dream come true. Great local foods paired with our Lake Country Wineries new releases.
2018 brings some exciting new experiences to the Lake Country wine region. 50th Parallel will complete its new expansion opening their new restaurant “Block One” which has amazing lake views. This deluxe restaurant will give our guests another great option for lunch and dinner – even afternoon charcuterie platters while sipping some of their flagship “Pinot” – that defines this winery.
Gray Monk Winery – the original winery of the region is also undergoing some great new improvements this year. Their cellar tour is going to have a taste of champagne to start and when we tour the cellars they will also be providing guests with an actual Barrel Tasting – a unique and simply great “Wow” moment.
Ex Nihilo Winery is also expanding this year. With a larger outdoor seating area – fantastic with better lake views. A new indoor lounge area that will also provide some indoor seating on inclement days. Our clients have always enjoyed their Courtyard tastings of wine and food pairing, but the new private barrel room tasting has been an exception hit with small groups – they have been “over the moon” with the experience.
Intrigue wines has also completed their new barrel room this year – which allows a new space for group tours – a great expansion that helps people enjoy their time at this winery consistently one of the clients favorite stops.
